The Founder and Board Chairman of Theovision International, Rev. Dr. Theodore Asare has been honored by the Ghana Evangelical Missions Association (GEMA) at a colorful ceremony in Accra.
The occasion was the climax of activities commemorating the association’s 35 anniversary celebrations and was attended by its member organizations and several guests.
The Founder of Theovision International, and its immediate past President, Rev. Dr. Asare and his wife, Monica Asare were duly honored for their exemplary service to the body of Christ.
A plaque presented to the couple recognized their “lifetime of dedication and commitment to Christian service in Ghana and beyond,” it read.
“You surrendered in simple obedience to the Lord and have kept faith with him throughout your lives. Your obedience in starting Theovision International has led millions of souls to hear God’s word in their own mother tongue through the audio Bible and other mission endeavors and have been transformed.
You have contributed immensely towards the development of the African Missionary Movement, “it stated.
Rev. Asare thanked GEMA for the recognition. He prayed that the association would grow from strength to strength and fulfill its mandate.
The award was received on behalf of the couple by the new President of Theovision International, Mr. Theodore Phil Asare.
