2023 Oral Bible School Graduation

Theovision International, in partnership with Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, USA, graduated 420 students from the Moody school of the Bible program to end the 2022/2023 academic year. The ceremonies were held in Kumasi, in the Ashanti region, and Anyinam, in the Eastern region, on February 24 and February 25, 2023, respectively.

Since the Oral Bible school focuses on educating underprivileged individuals, these graduates could not hide their excitement and joy on the graduation day as they joyfully sang, danced, and glorified God because most of them have never been to any formal school, neither did they thought of enrolling in a school or receiving a certificate for schooling at home without going to any classroom due to age, inability to read, and lack of funds.

The graduation, which is the 5th edition, was graced by the President of Moody Bible Institute, Dr. Mark Jobe. Bruce Everhart, Vice President-Chief Development Officer; Gregg Quiggle-D.L Moody Professor of Historical Theology; Daniel Starke-Video Producer, Marketing and Communications; Hannah Tung-Director of Educational Initiatives; Stephen Asare-Director of Mid-Level Development; Brian Holzgraefe-Associate Director of Small Groups at Park Community Church and Pastor James Meeks, a Moody board member, and his wife, Jamell Meeks were also present at the ceremony.

Other dignitaries were Rev. Dr. Steve Asante, Immediate past snr pastor of Asokwa Baptist Church, Apostle Dr. Christian Tsekpoe, HOD Ministerial formation, church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Anim, Head of Pentecost Theological seminary, Professor E.A Jackson and wife, Proprietaries and directors of the Jackson Educational complex among other guests.

Rev. Theodore Mensah Asare, the President and Founder of Theovision International expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Moody Bible Institute for their immense support and partnership. Through this collaboration, many underprivileged people in rural areas have been able to gain more knowledge about the Bible and are able to teach and preach in their various communities in their own mother tongue.

Together with the Moody President, Mark Jobe, they congratulated and encouraged the graduates not to sit on the knowledge gained but rather go out and spread the Word to everyone everywhere.

The overall best students for level 1, level 2 and other students testified about how the program has been of great help to them and expressed their sincere gratitude to Theovision International, Moody Bible Institute and their donors for the opportunity to become promoters of God’s Word in their communities.
