Many people in deprived areas are starving for God’s Word; truth that will help them take the next step in their journey with Christ. Most of them do not have access to God’s Word because they cannot read or write and in some sad cases, they do not know who God is. For those of us who have received Christ, we have been commissioned to go into the very ends of the earth to share God’s Word so all may hear His voice.

For 30 years, with support from our partners and donors, Theovision International has been sharing God’s Word in rural communities through the Audio Bible in the mother tongue of the indigenous people.

This year, Theovision International and Sunny 88.7FM embarked on a month-long campaign dubbed REACH; Reach them with God’s Word. The campaign was an opportunity to invite more people to be part of sending God’s Word to the hinterlands so that indigenous people could hear God’s Word in their mother tongue and be transformed. The challenge was to raise 100 Bible Listening Groups for 100 communities across Ghana.

Kicking off on 1^st March, Theovision International in collaboration with Sunny 88.7 FM used the airwaves to raise funds and generate awareness through their 3 main shows namely the Inspirational Morning Drive, Positive Soul Food – Midday show and Sunset Drive – Evening show. Listeners had the option of sending their donations through Mobile Money, Bank Transfer or donation pick up. Other Listeners also dropped off their donations at the front desk of Sunny FM.

In about 5 days of the campaign, God had touched the hearts of listeners and the campaign had raised the first GHC100,000. By the 10^th day of the campaign we had raised GHC 200,000 and God had once again showed us that there are people who are willing and ready to send God’s Word to the rural communities so all may hear His voice. By the end of the campaign we had reach our target of raising GHC 304,500.

We received testimonies from people who had given and had felt God’s blessings and experienced a breakthrough in their own Lives!!! We would like to thank every single person that donated to support this campaign. We did not just raise funds, but we have raised friends and family who are helping us expand the Kingdom of God through His word.
