Theovision Holds Stewardship Dinner

The Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries, Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee has commended Theovision International for being the “salt and light’ in the dark places of Africa for over three decades.

She celebrated Theovision for taking the mandate of Mathew 28:19 seriously not just to go, but to ensure that people hear the word of God and are transformed.

Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee was addressing donors, partners, friends and staff of Theovision International at the organization’s End-of-Year Stewardship and Fundraising Dinner in Accra over the weekend.

“I am deeply moved by the core of your mission—letting Africa hear God’s voice in her own language. By recording the Scripture in over 500 indigenous languages, you have dignified the African soul. You have told the village dweller in the Northern Sector, the farmer in the Western Region and the fisherfolk in the coast that God speaks their language, that God is not a foreigner, that He is their Father.”

This year’s event was under the theme “Declaring God’s Goodness: A Legacy of Thanksgiving and Soul Harvest.”

Speaking at the event, the President of Theovision International, Mr. Theodore Phil Asare thanked the donors and partners for their continuous support to the Ministry. He said Theovision couldn’t have carried out this year’s activities without the prayers and generous donations from partners.

He said the coming year provides another opportunity for the ministry to expand to other parts of Africa even as it consolidates its work in Ghana. He called on partners and donors to give even more generously to the ministry to ensure that all Africa may hear the word of God in their own language and be transformed.
