Potable water for another village!

POTABLE WATER FOR ANOTHER VILLAGE!

With the strong belief that everyone deserves clean water and a big heart for people, Mr. David Harlley partnered Theovision International to undertake a well-water project for the people of Boase-Ayihi, a village in the Eastern Region of Ghana that participates in weekly audio Bible listening sessions in the mother tongue organized by Theovision International.

Having heard what Theovision International had done in other villages that had not only been blessed with the gift of the audio Bible but with some social amenities such as potable water, toilet facilities and others, the leadership of Boase-Ayihi shared the problem of unhygienic and acute water shortage the community had been battling with for decades. After Theovision International shared the need with partners and donors, funds were raised and the well-water project was ready after a short-while of intensive work.

Speaking at a simple inauguration ceremony held to commence the use of the well, Rev. Theodore Asare, President of Theovision International, encouraged the people to take proper care of the facility so that it would not only serve them but the surrounding villages and generations unborn. The people of Boase-Ayihi were full of smiles as they witnessed the ceremony that had attracted traditional leaders from surrounding villages.

Recounting the words of Mr. David Harlley, one village elder shared that “God’s Word brings good things”. It was a pleasant ceremony of smiles and many thanks. Theovision International is glad to share God’s Word and His love with the people of Boase-Ayihi village.
