Partners Visit Bible Listening Groups in Tsawla and Manase

As part of our accountability to cherished donors and partners, we organize occasional Partners’ Field Trips for our donors and partners to have the opportunity to visit some communities where Bible Listening Groups have been established. The Partners’ Field Trip gives donors an opportunity to experience a Bible Listening Group and also to fellowship with people in rural communities.

On Saturday, March 9, the Theovision Field Ministries team traveled with seven (7) donors to Tsawla and Manase in Mafi Kumase, two communities in the Volta Region. These communities have been running Bible Listening programs in the Ewe Language. It was truly an amazing experience for the partners who partook in the journey. The rural people in both communities warmly welcomed the donors and they had a wonderful time in the Bible Listening sessions.

Mrs. Ivy Mawukor, a partner of Theovision International had this to say, “What really touched me was hearing God’s word being spoken in the local languages of the people. The conversations and discussions that followed really showed that they listen, and they are able to apply it to their own lives. Indeed, the transforming power of God’s Word has been experienced. We can only pray and hope that many communities will have this opportunity to listen to God’s Word in their own language and be able to apply it to their life. It was a pleasure and I’m glad I made

It’s a great joy to see how fervent and active the community comes together to listen to the Word of God. At the end of the trip, the partners expressed their gratitude and thanked Theovision International for starting this initiative.

the opportunity to come on the trip.”
