In just a couple of weeks, over two thousand people in deprived communities around the Kusawgu and Tuluwe enclaves of Central Gonja District in the Savannah Region would have an opportunity to enjoy free medical screening and treatment from health professionals from Theovision International.
The medical mission is an annual project by Theovision International, a Christin NGO, to support needy communities with quality healthcare as part of their vision to touch lives with the love of Christ and to promote the physical and spiritual wellbeing of deprived communities.
Major health conditions to be treated include malaria, urinary tract infection, rheumatoid arthritis, diarrhea, skin infections, ulcer, eye and ear infections, hernia, intestinal parasites, wounds, chicken pox, typhoid, mental health among others.
Residents would also have the opportunity to be registered onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
Theovision invites individuals, corporate institutions, pharmaceutical companies, volunteers and benevolent entities to support us to show the love of Christ to our friends in Gonja.
