If God takes care of our needs including our health, and even what we eat, then I’m protected and God will always provide for me says Derrick Jodzo, a listening group leader.

Derrick is a married man with a child. His daytime job is to be an Okada rider (motor cyclist), that means he has to interact with a lot of pedestrians to take them to their various locations.

The audio Bible was introduced to his community when he had started feeling inadequate at his job. Derrick is naturally an introvert and had difficulty communicating properly with his passengers. Ssometimes, he was unable to get enough passengers during the day to earn a sustainable daily living for himself and his family. “I was very reserved”, says Derrick.

After hearing Matthew 6:26, his life changed. Derick stopped feeling inadequate and committed to depend on God solely. Derrick since has come to the understanding of who God is – a provider and protector and even as a motorcyclist, he knows he is always under the wing of God’s protection even though he interacts with strangers regularly. “I don’t rush to get passengers, I know the Lord will provide daily”, says Derrick.
