Residents of Kusawgu and surrounding communities in the Savannah Region are receiving free medical care from Theovision International.
A combined team of health professionals from Theovision International, the Gonja District Health Directorate, the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and the Woodside Bible Church from the United States are currently undertaking free medical screening and counselling for hundreds of community members in the area.
The team is providing treatment for hypertension, malaria, typhoid, anaemia, diarrhea, hernia and cholera.
Others include tuberculosis, chicken pox, yellow fever, skin disease, eye, nose and throat cases, among others.
The week-long program also targets Tuluwe and its neighbouring communities.
