30th Anniversary Dinner

Theovision International climaxed the end of the year with a celebration dinner together with its partners.

On the farmers day, December 6, 2019, Theovision International had a fundraising dinner with its cherished partners to create awareness, create new friends, raise funds and celebrate the goodness of the Lord throughout this whole year. The event was marked with prominent invited guests and song ministration by Harmonious choir. During Rev. Theodore Asare’s speech, the Founder and President of Theovision International, he shared how there are still so many people who have not heard the gospel. He said, “There are still so many unreached people groups who do not have access to the Word of God, especially here in Ghana.” In response to solve this dire need, he said, “Next year, it is our goal that the Word of God, through the audio Bible, would become available to 1,000 communities in Ghana and neighbouring countries.” The aim is to establish 1,000 Bible Listening Groups (BLGs) in 2020 together with individuals, partners, churches and other organizations. He urged and encouraged everyone to make this vision their vision too by supporting in any way they can.

Justice Gertrude Torknoo, a board member of Theovision International, reiterated Rev. Asare’s vision. She said, “Please, think of the precarious lives the missionaries of Theovision International go through. They go the length and breadth of the continent to capture the Word in different local languages. They invest their youth, their family time, and their very lives to make Jesus’s last command their first concern. And we share in their labour, their success, the eternal work of salvation that the output brings when we support the Word with our giving.” She finally added, “I am a joyful partner of Theovision. I am a joyful receiver of the grace of God through the partnership of the kingdom. I invite you to increase your giving. Let us allow God to take us higher in His work.”

Apostle Professor Opoku Onyina, a specially invited guest at the event, also spoke concerning the 1,000 Bible Listening Groups in 2020. He said. “Theovision’s goal here is attempting to meet the needs of people who may have difficulty in reading the Bible. By this, Theovision’s goal is to assist the needy, and by that, bring many to Christ.” In raising a peculiar concern, he added, “I do not think the churches have seen the great work that Theovision is doing as it is. Those who have tap into the resources have received so many benefits.” He urged the people to support Theovision’s work and do all they can to bring the 1,000 Bible Listening project to fruition.

As a prayer, Mrs. Florence Ohene Kyei, a committed partner of Theovision International, said, “I pray that we, having received the gift of giving, will continue to give liberally according to our faith in the years to come so that through Theovision, the authentic word of God will reach many more people.”

Mrs. Ivy Mawuko, a cherished partner of Theovision International, thanked Rev. Theodore Asare and his wife for being obedient to God’s call. She said, “You could have done other things but you chose to respond to God’s call. Thank you for responding.” She encouraged the audience to never give up in supporting Theovision International when times get hard. She said, “I always say God is a good employer and He pays well. Every pesewa you contribute to Theovision’s work never goes in vain. Never give up in well-doing. God bless you.”

The people applauded in high hopes of helping the ministry reach many souls as possible in 2020. We thank everyone for supporting Theovision throughout 30 years of ministry. We encourage you to be part of Project 1,000 so that more lives can be transformed. God bless you.T
