Theovision International in partnership with HCJB-Global will offer free screening and medical care to some selected communities in Ghana. In what has become an annual event, Theovision and HCJB embark on medical outreach to some selected communities, in line with their vision of providing for the physical needs of the communities they minister in.
This year’s event is unique in terms of the number of medical personnel coming from abroad and the scope of communities to be covered. About 15 communities within four (4) districts will benefit from this free medical care. The avenue will also be used to educate and encourage the communities on basic health practices.
The team from abroad will arrive in Accra by 1st July and outreach will begin two days after in Nmai Dzorn, a suburb of Accra where Theovision’s offices are. The team will then move to North Tongu, Prampram and Afienya areas respectively.
Residents of North Tongu where Theovision’s Bible listening program is very popular are in high expectation of the relief that this medical outreach will bring to them. Fortunately the team will spend about a week in this area as it has more communities than the others. The team will then spend three days each in the other two areas to screen the inhabitants.
Reverend Theo Asare and the team at Theovision are excited about this year’s medical outreach because it will further make our message more meaningful to the people we serve .
