
Media Training of African Nationals has been at the core of Theovision international’s operations since its inception. The passion and prayer of Rev. Asare is the training of African Nationals in Media. As he always says “Africa needs training. “ Many are those who have been trained through our different training programs before and been equipped in the best modern practices in media. This year, Moody radio (USA) has joined forces with Theovision international , again to host a Global Partners Training in media Ministries at Peduase, near Accra, Ghana. This training will be done in partnership with HCJB Global and Africa by Radio from 18th-21st June.
Moody radio has assigned a 15 member team, which comprises top management and staff with in-depth knowledge and expensive practice in radio broadcasting, to facilitate this training in Ghana. The team will include Bruce Everhart, Vice President of Donor Development and Channel Strategy of Moody Bible Institute, Collin Lambert, Vice President of Broadcasting, Brian Dahlen, Professor and coordinating Producer of the morning Ride radio show, Winfred Neel and four communication students.
The training sessions are designed to afford participants in-depth theoretical and practical training in various aspects of; Radio programming, social media, internet ministry, Television and Leadership.
Very interesting and relevant topics have been selected to expose participants to modern and Biblical principles in media practice.
It will be interesting to discover how Professor of Pastoral Studies, Winfred Neely weaves God’s word into modern practice for the benefit of the trainee church media practitioners and others.
This training is bringing participants from 12 African countries to benefit immensely from this international training event in media practice. The training will be done in English and French languages.
Stephen Asare, the project coordinator of the Moody Radio said “I believe that everyone who will be at the training will walk away from it better equipped to continue spreading the Gospel through the media.”
