The journey was long and winding, the roads were terrible and lean but we eventually got to Ahwereasefom a little farming settlement in the Asamankese District of the Eastern Region. As expectant as the village has been towards our coming, it was also fulfilling for our donors who took time off their busy city schedules for this awesome experience.
Considering how busy and sophisticated the city life is it was a blessing to see another side that is green, gentle and refreshing.
The team appreciated the efforts Theovision is making to give a holistic ministry to these under privilege people when they saw a soon to be commissioned borehole project that was sponsored by Theovision International and partners.
As the dusk began to cover, the village quickly gathered round the Asempadaka for the Bible study session as normally done.
God indeed speaks my language regardless of where I am. As the Asempadaka-(Good News box) plays the scriptures in the Twi dialect the entire village went quiet, they listened, answered questions, asked questioned and they shared their testimonies with the donors who were amazed at what God is doing in their lives.
God’s power knows no boundary. We are blessed to be a blessing to these ones through Theovision International, the team donated some used clothes, sweets and biscuits and the whole village lighted up with joy upon this announcement. Glory be unto God!
We are therefore, inviting you to our next field trip which will be coming up soon. Watch out for the date. Click here for more Images
God bless you!
